Here's the set as far as it's been worked out. These are the songs that we'll be working on at practice. Any other songs will be songs we're super familiar with.
I have a possible transition between these two songs that will either be totally awesome or will fail so hard we'll be cowering in shame. Hard to tell which.
So it's that time of year again where we break out that music that we haven't played since last year and we learn it all over again in time for the advent season. Here's a list of the songs that we'll likely be playing. This list will likely change a little bit over the next couple of weeks and I'll let you know when it does.
Hey everyone, Here's the list for Sunday. To start off I wanna finally give "Heaven" a try. Erin had the idea to pair it with a reworked "Nothing But the Blood". I think we'll try to hash that out on Wednesday. Otherwise the set is pretty straight forward. Here it is:
Here are the tunes we'll hit this week at practice. We'll be practicing "Forever and a Day" in anticipation of introducing it on Sunday. "One Thirst" we'll be learning for the first time.
Hey all! So this week we're doing "Kids Worship". The kids VBS thing is coming up and Jamie wants us to do a couple of new songs that he'll be doing for the kids this week as an intro for them. I know this is short notice but short of the ridiculous guitar solo in the second song, I think we'll manage just fine.
Here's a working draft of the set for Good Friday. I don't have the songs for the communion section figured out and we can still change songs as we see fit between now and Good Friday. The songs are listed in order and divided into which sections they will be in.
Triumphant Entry:
Musical intro - beginning before the start of the service
Hey everyone! Here's a list of songs that I've been compiling of songs that I'd like to give a shot at. We'll be practicing these for the next while and working them into our Sunday sets over time. If you guys have any songs that you'd like to try just let me know! I've been looking all over for songs and I'd love to have all of your guys' input. This list will likely grow but this is what we'll go with for now.
